Viscose Carpet - (Artificial Silk, Faux Silk, Bamboo Silk)

Viscose carpet is often very softy and luxurious but reacts badly to moisture and direct sunlight. The fibres are slightly reflective so it is also subject to ‘shading’, where the carpet will appear to be a different colour depending on which direct the pile is lying - while some people like this effect others feel it is ‘messy’. Stainguard treatment can be applied to viscose carpets, which will make it far more resistance to spills (see the Our Services page of the FAQ).
