Should I do anything before the carpet arrives?

It is always best to clear your room/s of any furniture, not only so the carpet can be fitted but so it can be stored -carpet rolls are quite bulky so if your fitter is not coming on the same day as the carpet is being delivered, this is an important consideration. Also be aware that most couriers cannot given specific times for delivery, so ensure someone is in the property all day on the arranged delivery date.
